Job summary

The Pines at Glens Falls, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is offering a Nursing Assistant Trainee position. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in resident care while you attend class, labs, and clinical experiences to prepare for the CNA exam.

This entry-level role provides paid training with $17.15/hour during training and $21.25/hour plus shift differentials after graduation, a 3–4 day per week class schedule from 8:30 to 2:30, weekly

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Interest in nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill.
• Ability to maintain reliable attendance and meet scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures.
• Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision.
• Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents.
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents.

Rate of Pay
