Job summary

French Consulting is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to join the Human Performance Optimization team at Moody Air Force Base, GA. You will evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate tactical athletes in a unit-embedded setting, working closely with PTs, physicians, and the HPO team.

You’ll provide clinical care across rehabilitation, screening, and prevention, maintain documentation, and support readiness through travel within CONUS.

Qualifications

• Education must include CAATE-accredited program and a Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related discipline.
• BOC Athletic Trainer Certification and active license in a state (or DC/PR/USVI) are required.
• Certification in soft tissue mobilization (ART, Graston, etc.) and Dry Needling are preferred/required.
• At least two years of professional experience with military personnel or elite sports; one year in last two years.
• Completion of DoD provider training, background check, and English proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services including on-site and off-site evaluation, triage, and treatment following AFI 44-102 and 23 MDG standards.
• Design and implement rehab and conditioning programs to restore function and performance.
• Perform injury prevention, screening, and education to reduce risk and improve readiness.
• Document encounters in government systems and coordinate with medical team for readiness.
• Travel within CONUS as needed to support exercises and missions.
