Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute seeks a highly motivated Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support the POTFF Human Performance program for SOF personnel. You will deliver injury prevention, acute care, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement services, while documenting care in military EHR systems.

Responsibilities include advising program leadership, collaborating with healthcare staff, and maintaining compliance with clinical guidelines and fiscal planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training is required.
• NATABOC certification is required.
• CSCS certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Minimum 5 years ATC experience with athletes at NCAA/Olympic/pro level or SOF Operators.

Responsibilities

• Provide injury prevention, acute care, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.
• Deliver HP services within ATC scope of practice per NATA guidelines.
• Document care in the EHR and track data for POTFF program.
• Design protective equipment and instruct care within scope.
• Collaborate with HP program staff to improve patient care and program outcomes.
