Henry Ford Providence Southfield is seeking a Unit Educator for our 15-bed Level III NICU to advance nursing practice and patient care.

The role focuses on designing and delivering education, mentoring staff, and leading quality improvement initiatives to improve safety and outcomes. BSN required with four years of clinical experience; Michigan RN licensure, teaching ability, and strong leadership are essential.

• BSN required.
• Equivalent of four years of clinical experience with defined patient population preferred.

Job Description

Join our dynamic NICU team—a 15-bed, Level III unit dedicated to providing exceptional care for infants born as early as 23 weeks. As a Unit Educator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping clinical excellence and advancing nursing practice across our unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate innovative educational initiatives and quality improvement projects that elevate patient outcomes and nursing practice
• Inspire and mentor nursing staff by modeling excellence in clinical practice, demonstrating best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
• Develop and deliver engaging educational programs for nursing staff, patients, and families that translate evidence-based knowledge into meaningful clinical practice
• Champion quality improvement initiatives that drive measurable enhancements in patient safety, care delivery, and team performance
