Job summary

Air Combat Command in the United States seeks a Unit Deployment Manager to plan, organize, and oversee all unit deployment activities, configure UTCs, and perform analyses to measure efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

You will provide senior leadership with guidance, advise the commander on deployment capabilities, ensure personnel and equipment readiness, and schedule deployment training to meet wartime and peacetime taskings.

Qualifications

• Transcripts must be provided when education is used to qualify.
• Foreign education may be used if credentials are deemed equivalent to U.S. standards; evidence required.
• Education must be accredited by the Department of Education.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and oversees all unit level deployment activities. Configures and maintains functional Unit Type Codes (UTCs) as postured by MAJCOM FAMs (Functional Area Managers) using available unit assets. Performs analysis activities. Establishes metric and system analysis systems for unit and higher level management to assess the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory procedures.

Provides technical guidance and recommendations to senior leadership regarding unit deployment program. Advises commander on the direction, management, and operation of all aspects of unit deployment capabilities. Ensures personnel and equipment readiness. Ensures the unit is ready to meet wartime and peacetime mobility taskings by scheduling and tracking unit deployment training.
