The Unit Coordinator at Salina-Regional-Health-Center provides professional nursing care for assigned residents in line with professional standards, state regulations, and the center mission. This role also acts as a leader, collaborating with the health care team to create an environment of high quality resident care.
Under the direction of the Director, LTC Nursing, the position supports day-to-day operations with the full-time day shift (8:00–4:30).
The Unit Coordinator provides professional nursing care for assigned residents according to professional standards, state regulations, and in keeping with the health center mission. Unit Coordinator will serve as a leader, collaborating with the health care team to create an environment of high quality resident care. Works under direction of Director, LTC Nursing.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
Schedule-Shift-Hours Full Time - Day Shift - 8-4:30
