Job description

ERC Pathlight is an innovative, rapidly growing clinical leader in the behavioral health sector. Founded in 2008 by pre-eminent psychiatrists and psychologists in the eating disorder space, ERC Pathlight now treats over 6,000 patients per year, operates more than 30 facilities in 9 states and delivers tele-healthcare to patients nationally. We offer the most comprehensive treatment program in the country for patients who struggle with eating disorders, mood and anxiety and trauma-related disorders.

How you’ll serve our patients

As a clinical professional at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of a team that delivers hands-on treatment, and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation. The UC assists the nursing department by scheduling appointments, ensuring supplies are ordered and in stock, ensuring that labs are ordered and correct and supporting overall administrative functions of the department.

You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:

  1. Ensures lab work is ordered and correct. In some locations, may collect lab specimens.
  2. Assists in communication between providers, both internal and external, to update all involved parties through phone, computer, verbal, and written means. Requests medical records as needed.
  3. Coordinates outside medical appointments for patients as directed by medical or nursing staff.
  4. Participates in the new admission process for new patients arriving on the unit.
  5. Places supply orders and ensures nursing supplies are in stock and schedules equipment maintenance.
  6. Maintains and updates charts, medical records, and formats any new patient paperwork as needed.
  7. Performs duties as designated and completes administrative projects under the supervision of the RN on duty/Nurse Leadership.
  8. Milieu support as needed as designated by nurse leadership.
  9. Candidates will be spending approximately 20% of their time performing phlebotomy duties as needed.

Compensation starting range for the Unit Coordinator role is $19.00 to $22.00. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
