Job Description

Support person for Employee Health & Infection Prevention. To assist with answering phone, referring employees and medical personnel for testing, documenting vaccines, filing, scheduling for fit testing, performing fit testing, swabbing as needed. Will assist with performing administrative tasks for the Quality Management department to include scanning records into shared folders and managing files for nursing staff in Quality.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

Fulltime, Day shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

· Follows expected workflows and processes set up for the delivery of support to employees, physicians, and department staff.

· Demonstrate professionalism including current AED’s and other competencies, following dress code policies, participation in new employee onboarding.

· Performs all duties assigned by Employee Health (fit testing, chart processing)

· Perform all duties in accordance with established Hospital Policies and Procedures

· Additional administrative assistant duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High School diploma required.

· Associate degree or higher preferred

· Working knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary, as well as organizational skills.
