Seeking Full time Unit Coordinator at Senior LIFE Greensburg!

Full Time- Greensburg, PA

Monday - Friday

Daylight 8am - 4:30pm

No Evenings, Weekends or Holidays!

Senior LIFE is an innovative home and community based Medicare and Medicaid funded program which provides all-inclusive healthcare services and support to seniors living in the community. Senior LIFE makes it possible for seniors to remain at home, enjoying the comfort and reassurance of familiar surroundings while receiving the care they need. Senior LIFE staff live the mission of the program. Our team is committed to partnering with our seniors to remain at home through promoting open communication and shared decision making while providing excellent care and services.

As part of this exciting expansion, Senior LIFE seeks a hardworking, dedicated and compassionate Unit Coordinator to support the center’s clinical staff. The Unit Coordinator will be responsible for routine clerical services, including office supplies and medical records. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to this position, with daily responsibilities including:

  • Clerical support, including photocopying, faxing, filing and answering incoming calls
  • Maintaining medical records and ensuring confidential information is protected
  • Scheduling appointments, as directed
  • Coordinating schedules for clinical departments
  • Providing physician with up-to-date lists of all members requiring appointments and evaluations
  • Updating resident schedules
  • Distributing member referrals to the transportation team
  • Gathering forms/paperwork necessary for upcoming assessments and clinical evaluations
  • Providing coverage for the receptionist, as requested

Ideal candidates will have strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, plus familiarity with basic administrative equipment. Experience in a medical or office setting is preferred. All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED to be considered.
