Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System and a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing unit activities and patient care. The role involves clerical duties, patient care tasks, and adherence to state guidelines within a dynamic hospital setting.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete a Nevada CNA program with certification, and hold an active CNA license with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program and certification.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities in the nursing unit; perform clerical and receptionist duties.
• Perform patient care/service activities as outlined by state requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients on the assigned unit/department.
