Responsibilities

This opportunity is full-time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a night shift schedule in our MED SURG/TELE (3 WEST) Department.

Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. It is a 235-bed, acute care hospital, owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., a highly respected healthcare management organization. Job Requirements:

  1. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  2. Ability to read, write, and working knowledge of medical terminology.
  3. Previous experience in clinical or receptionist position, hospital experience, or satisfactory completion of training program preferred.
  4. Able to perform detailed assignments and work under pressure.
  5. Possesses communication skills in order to relate to patients, hospital staff, physicians, and visitors.
  6. American Heart Association certification in BLS required.
  7. Basic EKG or arrhythmia recognition course preferred.
  8. Computer experience required.
