Position Overview

Under the supervision of the nurse manager or designee, the Unit Clerk/Registrar organizes activities at the nurse station by performing clerical, reception, registration, and support duties. Responsibilities include maintaining the physical environment, ensuring adequate clerical supplies, coordinating patient transfers within the hospital, and filing documents into medical records. The role requires sound judgment in clerical decisions, knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, and the ability to follow diverse protocols. Candidates should demonstrate a calm, rational demeanor, effective performance, and the ability to multi-task in high-pressure, emotionally charged situations.

Minimum Education and Experience
  1. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  2. Experience: 1 Year in a related field (Preferred)
