South Texas Health System seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide safe, patient-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse on a designated unit. You will support the Nursing Team and uphold our Service Excellence culture.
The role requires a CNA or MA certificate (or active enrollment in LVN/ADN/BSN), BLS on hire, and a high school diploma or GED. Candidates should be 18+, dependable, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Provides safe, competent patient-centered care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The nursing assistant provides care under the direction of the registered nurse. Participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.
