Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center is seeking a Night Shift Unit Clerk for the Preoperative Services Department. The role supports nurses by coordinating non-nursing functions, communications and clerical tasks on the unit.

Requires HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a hospital or medical setting. Strong communication skills and medical terminology knowledge are preferred. This position runs nights with weekend and holiday rotations.

Job Summary:

The Unit Clerk for the preoperative Services Department assist the professional nurses in coordinating non-nursing functions and activities including all communications and clerical duties relevant to the unit.

Education Requirements:

HS diploma or GED required.

Experience:

At least 1 year experience in a hospital or medical setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Medical terminology and basic data entry skills preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Salary Range:

$25.325/hr - $26.658/hr

Nights w/ eo wknd & hols; 11p-7a
