Job summary

Inova Staffing is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to assemble large industrial air handling units in Akron. This hands-on role involves measuring, cutting, and fitting materials, and using a range of hand and power tools.

You will work from assembly drawings, lift components with a team, and help ensure a clean, safe work environment. Previous manufacturing or construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16 inch.
• Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail.
• Previous manufacturing/assembly/construction or hands-on experience preferred.
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and work with a team to lift panels weighing up to 175 lbs.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Comfortable climbing ladders when needed.

We are looking for mechanically inclined individuals to help build and assemble large industrial air conditioning and air handling units. This hands-on position involves assembling metal panels, installing components, measuring materials, and using various hand and power tools.

Job Duties

• Assemble large industrial units, panels, walls, and structural components
• Measure, cut, and fit materials according to specifications
• Install insulation, motors, fans, coils, and other components
• Use drills, rivet guns, impact wrenches, saws, and other hand tools
• Follow assembly drawings and maintain a clean, safe work area

Requirements
