Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is looking for an assembler to wrap units with insulation material and perform various tasks involving physical labor. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Wrap units with insulation material. Includes cutting and measuring material for placement on unit. Fits, adjusts, installs or fastens unit or component parts to a unit. Performs housekeeping and other duties as required.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

Manufacturing – exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), cold/heat (outdoor). Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of hand tools.
• Read measuring tape.
• Good hand dexterity required to fit and assemble product.
• Some judgment required.
• Perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school.
• Ability to maintain clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
• Depending on the type of Assembler, this person must be able to qualify in one (1) of the following processes: Insulation PSI Testing.
• As a condition of employment, active participation in a Continuous Improvement Team is required.
• May be required to perform other occasional work assignments necessitated by business reasons which may affect production/operations to some degree.
