Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Unit-Based Nurse Educator for the 6 Central Transplant Unit at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. You will lead orientation and ongoing education for staff caring for liver and kidney transplant patients and other complex surgical cases.

Qualifications

• BSN required and current RN license in MA.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 3 years of cardiac specialty nursing experience.
• Preferred: 1–3 years in education, staff development, or training.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate orientation for new transplant unit nursing staff.
• Coordinate and maintain annual education requirements, including regulatory and competency-based training.
• Provide education related to transplant care and advanced surgical recovery.
• Support competency validation and ongoing clinical skill development.
• Collaborate with leadership to support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical resource for evidence-based practice.
