Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is expanding its inpatient transplant team at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center to deliver expert care to patients undergoing kidney and liver transplants and HPB surgeries. You will collaborate with surgeons, hepatologists, nephrologists, and nurses to optimize outcomes.

The role requires APRN or PA licensure, 1 year (3 years preferred) of transplant-related experience, and a patient-centered, communicative approach in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• APRN or PA with valid state license and certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in transplantation, nephrology, surgery, or related field.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized transplant care, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Postoperative management and pain control with complication monitoring.
• Prescribe and adjust immunosuppressant medications as needed.
• Educate patients and families on pre/post-transplant care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, hepatologists, nephrologists, and nurses.

You'll play a vital role in delivering expert care to patients undergoing kidney & liver transplants and HPB surgeries.
