WhatYou’llDo
You’ll report to the Director of Patient Care Services and support the unit by welcoming guests, answering telephones, relaying information, and performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide designated patient care services, with specific responsibilities determined by your assigned patient care unit. Your role will adapt to unit needs and may include a range of supportive tasks that contribute to efficient operations, effective communication, and high-quality patient care.

You offer excellent communication and customer service skills, along with the ability to manage phones, documentation, and clerical tasks accurately and efficiently. You bring attention to detail and reliability in preparing and maintaining patient records, entering orders and data, and supporting smooth unit operations. You demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by assisting with admissions, discharges, and a wide range of patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You bring the physical ability, technical skills, and sound judgment needed to support patient mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and monitoring. You uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and infection prevention standards while responding promptly to patient needs, reporting changes in condition, and contributing to a clean, safe, and well-organized care environment.
