Job summary

MercyOne Health System is seeking a Unit Assistant to join the Medical/Surgical department on a part-time basis. You will participate in safe, quality patient care as delegated by the RN and provide clerical support for the patient care area in alignment with Genesis Medical Center philosophies.

The role requires a Certified Nursing Assistant and Basic Life Support training, with no prior experience required. Education includes a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide clerical services to the patient care area in line with Genesis Medical Center standards and philosophies.
