Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking an Asset Manager to supervise a portfolio of trust real estate and related assets within the Private Bank. You will manage 50-100 residential properties, coordinate property services, and lead negotiations on acquisitions, sales and leases while ensuring risk controls and client satisfaction.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), a real estate license or coursework, and at least five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for a geographically dispersed and diverse portfolio of 50-100 mostly residential properties.
• Coordinate all aspects of property management within dynamic administration, service and new business environments.
• Lead oversight and negotiations of purchases, sales and leases of real trust real estate.
• Communicate clearly with trust officers, clients, attorneys, brokers and service providers.
• Oversee renovations, modifications and repair projects from design to completion.
• Participate in testimonial appearances before probate court if necessary.

GENERAL FUNCTION: Provide pro-active and effective management of trust real estate and other special assets for the Private Bank, covering of trusts, estates, and guardianships. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for a geographically dispersed and diverse portfolio of 50-100 mostly residential properties.
• Coordinate all aspects of property management within highly dynamic administration, service and new business environments
• Assume leadership role in the oversight and negotiations of purchases, sales and leases of real trust real estate.
• Provide articulate, reasoned and concise communication with trust officers, clients, attorneys, brokers, contractors, third-party managers and other service providers.
• Provide oversight services for renovations, modifications and repair projects for assigned properties, from design through completion.
• Participate in testimonial appearances before probate court, if necessary.

Minimum Knowledge & Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Real estate salesperson license or completing course work for license.
• Minimum of five years work-related experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Self-starter with excellent organization skills for multi-tasking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer relationship skills.

Unique Asset Manager

Total Base Pay Range 71,100.00 - 145,900.00 USD Annual

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
