Job summary

UNIQLO is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate in Silver Spring, MD to deliver outstanding customer service, listen to shopper needs, present product information, and help close sales while upholding UNIQLO standards.

You will work September through December 2026, including Black Friday and holiday periods, assist with fitting rooms, operate the cash register when needed, process shipments, maintain floor presentation, and support management on special projects.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull, move, lift or carry objects of at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom including: bending, standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.

• Assist management to identify and resolve issues in the store.
• Provide product and brand knowledge to customers.
• Follow all company policy and procedures & notify management of any infractions.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.

Salary: $18.00 / hour Silver Spring, MD *The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Store Manager, the Seasonal Sales Associate is the customer service specialist of the store. They are responsible for exceeding customer expectations by listening to customer needs, finding products that meet their needs, providing in depth product information about the goods they are interested in and closing the sale.

Available in the Fall/Winter? We are looking for holiday seasonal staff members to work from the months of September to December 2026.

You must be available to work on the following restricted holiday dates: Black Friday Period: Friday, November 20th - Sunday, November 22nd & Friday November 27th, 2026 Holiday Period: Friday, December 18th - Saturday, December 26th, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or G.E.D., or 6 months retail or related experience.

Part-Time Availability Requirements:

Minimum of 12 hours availability per week based on business seasonality
