Position Summary
As the Union Yards Supervisor, you will be responsible for greeting guests and assisting them throughout Union Yards, monitoring crowd behavior and taking steps to ensure that each guest has a positive experience at Subaru Park. The Union Yards Supervisor works hard to make sure our space looks its best and our guests receive the assistance they need. All Guest Services Staff members work with the mindset of completing our mission of providing our Guests with the “highest quality sports and entertainment experience” possible.This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00Benefits for part-time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until June 6, 2025.
Responsibilities
  • Supervises our Tailgate location Union Yards during Union games and additional special events
  • Troubleshoots basic AV equipment and notifies the correct parties if something is not working
  • Works closely with housekeeping to ensure a clean space for all patrons
  • Communicates all event information to the appropriate departments and staff
  • Supports security in Union Yards and manages ticketed entry to our private events
  • Works closely with and receives direction from the Event Manager
  • Monitor performance of front of house staff including guest services, security, medical, and event staff
  • Assists/manages facility set up
  • Executes other operational duties as designed
Qualifications
  • At least one year experience in the same or similar position in arenas, convention centers, stadiums or theaters preferred
  • 4 year degree from a college or university preferred
  • Ability to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules (including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours)
  • Experience in customer service
  • Ability to manage high stress situations
  • Able to be on feet for long periods of time
  • Must have a pleasant and outgoing personality
  • Must be friendly, courteous and polite with a positive attitude
