Job summary

Metro Electric Supply is seeking a warehouse associate in Missouri to receive, store, pick, pack and distribute inventory, ensuring accurate handling and timely order fulfillment.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with starting pay at $17 per hour based on experience. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and safety and efficiency are emphasized throughout daily tasks.

• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and conduct daily safety inspections.
• Unload deliveries, identify materials, and record discrepancies.
• Store products in designated locations and pack customer orders.
• May perform delivery duties using a light van to fulfill orders.

Compensation Details

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $17.00 per hour depending on experience.

Typical Functions

• Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers’ instructions.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections.
• Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies.
• Accurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required.
• Select and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations.
