Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Recruiting Relations Specialist - Unions to strengthen our union craft workforce strategy. You will partner with unions, apprenticeship programs, and field leadership to ensure a stable, skilled, and compliant workforce across projects.

You will support recruitment, training, and compliance activities, coordinate events, and help develop workforce pipelines while adhering to prevailing wage requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in construction operations or labor relations preferred.
• Experience coordinating union labor and apprenticeship programs.
• Familiarity with prevailing wage laws (e.g. Davis-Bacon).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for union workforce coordination and labor-related activities.
• Build relationships with union business agents, apprenticeship coordinators, and training directors.
• Coordinate union labor requests with field operations and project leadership.
• Support manpower planning for union craft staffing across projects and regions.
• Ensure compliance with union agreements, workforce reporting, and labor standards.
• Monitor union workforce trends, availability, and pipeline risks.
• Assist with recruiting and sourcing for union craft positions across trades.
• Coordinate hiring events, career fairs, and apprenticeship recruitment.
• Develop relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and workforce boards.
• Support apprenticeship workforce planning and development with union programs.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and diversity initiatives.
• Maintain workforce, apprenticeship, and compliance documentation.
