Job DescriptionJob Description

Specialized Tree Equipment Operator- Must have the ability to perform general labor tasks for a full workday. An employee at this stage must have the ability to perform all aspects of the Groundperson classifications which include but are not limited to running a chainsaw for bucking and limbing, operating a chipper, performing routine inspection and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, setting up job sites, cleaning up debris, assisting the climber or bucket operator from the ground, conducting temporary traffic control, acting as a spotter, completing post work inspections, set up rigging, set ropes with a throw line, tie all knots and hitches required to complete these tasks, and partake in ongoing training. In addition, they must have a valid CDL with air brakes, and previous commercial driving experience. Must have experience operating equipment. Must be at least 21 years of and have a good driving record. This Operator classification includes operation of a grapple truck and/or any other equipment deemed specialized.

-Valid Cass A CDL with air brakes

-Current medical certificate

-Meets all requirements to drive company vehicles

-CPR/first aid certification-Completed and signed Groundperson Training

-Completed and signed Tree Feller Training

-Completed LCCP test

-Completed Groundperson section of LCQP book

-Completed training in specialized equipment (Grapple)
