Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a diligent hotel housekeeping team member for San Francisco. The role involves replenishing supplies, cleaning guest rooms, and ensuring comfort and safety in accordance with brand standards.

You will assist guests promptly, maintain professional appearance, and work weekends or holidays as required, with shifts starting in the first tier. The position offers hourly compensation of 25.32 USD.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist departments.
• Fill cart with supplies, transport and stock rooms as needed.
• Enter guest rooms following access procedures and vacate before entering.
• Replace guest amenities, linens, and supplies; make beds and tidy rooms.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash and ensure appliances work.
• Straighten furniture, dust walls, and vacuum carpets in rooms and corridors.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; communicate clearly.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area. Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering. Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms. Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items. Make beds and fold terry. Clean bathrooms. Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items. Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order. Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets in guest rooms and hallway.

Shift: 1st; must be available to work weekends and holidays

• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• P erform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
• Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
