Propelis Group is hiring a Union Pressman in Cincinnati. The role is on 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

after an initial training period on 1st shift. The program is a two-year apprenticeship with stepwise wage increases and a shift differential of $1.80/hour for second shift. Starting wages progress from $25.00 to $27.00, then $29.00, and finally the union wage of $33.76 per hour, with comprehensive group benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Basic skill with hand tools around heavy machinery.
• Ability to stand long shifts, bend and lift.
• Good color perception to spot ink and alignment issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Set-up: mount printing plates, blankets and adjust press tolerances.
• Manage Materials: load sheets, mix or fill ink fountains.
• Monitor Quality: pull proofs, check ink, alignment and registration.
• Learn Operations: study controls, safety rules and troubleshooting.
