Job summary

Dynalectric Arizona is hiring a Payroll Specialist to handle weekly payroll for union employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CBAs and federal/state laws. You will manage timekeeping validation, deductions, and benefits while supporting audits and year-end processes.

Qualifications include 3–4 years of payroll experience (union preferred), HR exposure, and strong Excel skills. This on-site role offers competitive benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years payroll processing experience, preferably with Union experience.
• Some Human Resources experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Vista Viewpoint is preferred.
• Strong MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work with confidential information and payroll taxes.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for union employees with accuracy.
• Interpret and apply multiple collective bargaining agreements to payroll processing.
• Validate timekeeping data with Operations and resolve discrepancies.
• Process terminations in compliance with state laws.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare certified payroll reports.
• Manage garnishments and other payroll deductions per law.
• Support audits with payroll documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records in payroll systems.
