Union Operator

This role will be responsible for performing all duties associatedwith the operational aspect of production, including but not limited to thereceiving and charging of raw materials, the operation of vessels, and theextraction and packaging of finished product. All work done with compliance toSHE guidelines, government regulations, cGMP, manufacturing packets and processprocedures, and at the discretion of the controlling supervisor.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Manufacture finished goods to meet customer specifications.
Operate vessel and equipment in accordance with manufacturing procedures.
Monitor temperature and pressure, manage raw material charging and discharging, and perform boil outs.
Follow sampling procedures to sample products, deliver samples to the lab, obtain results and adjust batches as needed.
Record essential data on batch sheets, package products.
Load and unload bulk and packaged materials, including raw materials and finished products.
Drum and prepackage products.
Retrieve raw materials from storage and charge the materials.
Operate a forklift.
Perform equipment maintenance.
Prepare equipment for maintenance activities.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Adhere to established procedures for safe and environmentally sound operations, including emergencies, start up, shutdown and OSHA related protocols.
Collaborate with Operations to safely manage site maintenance processes.
Troubleshoot complex problems requiring advanced skills.

High school diploma required.
Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
RCRA/Hazardous Waste Handler Certification, forklift training and license.
