Trumbull-Brayman Joint Venture is seeking an experienced Union Operating Mechanic-Cranes to join our team on the Montgomery Lock & Dam Project in Monaca, Pennsylvania, a major U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) infrastructure project with an estimated 8-year duration.
This is a long-term, full-time leadership opportunity on a large-scale heavy civil project involving structural concrete, dam and lock rehabilitation, and complex infrastructure construction.
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday – approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime available based on project demands and in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
This is a union position, and the successful candidate will become a member of the applicable Operating Engineers Local.
The Operating Mechanic – Cranes is primarily responsible for assembly, erection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of tower cranes that support heavy civil construction operations while ensuring safe and reliable functioning of the equipment at the project site.
Work is performed outdoors on an active heavy civil construction site. Duties involve physical labor including lifting, climbing, bending, and working around heavy equipment and structural concrete operations.
This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. It may also involve project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. The position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
