Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Union Mobile HVAC Engineer to support a leading healthcare provider across New Jersey. You will perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests, keep buildings running, and operate on-site across multiple locations.

The role requires 3–5 years building engineering experience, EPA certification, and the ability to read blueprints. You will travel in a CBRE van with uniforms and equipment, with competitive union pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in building engineering (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders for building systems and equipment.
• Inspect, operate, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions impacting operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, complete hazard assessments, and comply with OSHA and local regulations.
• Use CMMS (e.g., Corrigo) to update work orders and document activities in real time.
• Communicate effectively with clients and management; work independently in the field.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles; complete required inspections and documentation.

Join CBRE as a Union Mobile HVAC Engineer supporting aleading healthcare provider’s locations across the New Jersey area. In this hands-on role, you’llkeep buildings running at their best by performing preventive maintenance andresponding to service requests across multiple sites.

Day-to-day, you’ll operate, inspect, troubleshoot, andrepair HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other buildingsystems—helping ensure a safe, comfortable experience for clients and customerswhile minimizing downtime.

What You’ll Do:
