About the Position: The Maintenance Porter (MP) position revolves around the day-to-day process of maintaining a clean and safe storage facility. Additionally, the MP is responsible for providing high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Handling immediate maintenance and the janitorial needs of the assigned facility
  • Daily routine and non-routine maintenance control for specific areas of the building (floors, walls, restrooms, office space, facility exterior, etc.)
  • Cutting locks
  • Painting
  • Latch installations
  • Flood remediation
  • Snow removal
  • Corner guard repair
  • Patching walls
Scheduling:

Scheduling for a maintenance employee typically involves regular shifts during business hours, with some employees assigned to open or close the location. They may work early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on facility needs. The schedule ranges between 6:45 a.m. - 10:30 p.m., scheduled for 8.5 hours including a 30-minute break.
