Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
• Experience with heavy civil dirt work, grading, or road construction preferred.
• Knowledge of soil conditions and compaction helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including dozers, scrapers, loaders, graders, and excavators.
• Perform earthmoving, grading, excavation, backfilling, and site preparation.
• Follow supervisor directions to meet project specifications.
• Complete pre- and post-operation inspections on equipment.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance (greasing, cleaning, fluids).
• Read grade stakes, plans, GPS or project instructions when required.
