Job summary

DPR Construction is hiring for a general labor role in the Boston area. The position requires contributing to site prep, material handling and equipment maintenance while adhering to safety standards and procedures.

With 2–4 years in construction or related fields, you will support trades and other team members, keep work areas orderly, and communicate progress to leadership to ensure efficient workflow on busy projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of general labor/construction experience.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 30-Hour preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs general labor tasks including site prep, material handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Assist team members and trades to support project efficiency.
• Inspect areas for safety and quality; report issues as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment и work areas in clean, functional condition.
• Communicate task progress to leadership to facilitate workflow.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of physical and general construction tasks that support overall project progress and completion. Executes assignments safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail. Collaborates with team members to maintain workflow and quality across all site activities. Contributes to a safe, organized, and productive work environment through consistent adherence to safety procedures and work standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs general labor tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Follows established safety procedures and uses required protective equipment.
• Assists other team members and trades with assigned work to support project efficiency.
• Inspects work areas and materials for safety and quality, reporting issues as needed.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and functional condition.

Education Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience

2-4 years of experience in general labor, construction, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses

• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification required.
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
