Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a union field technician to test and maintain electrical power equipment across the upper Midwest. Openings range from Level I to IV and include on-site responsibilities in the Minneapolis area.

The role requires NETA certification (or progress toward it), willingness to travel 50–75%, a valid driver's license, and the ability to mentor apprentices and junior techs. Union benefits and pension are included.

Qualifications

• Requires NETA certification or progress toward certification.
• Experience with power testing such as power factor or HV testing preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% to support field work.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and maintain switchgear, breakers, transformers, and cables.
• Operate high-voltage test equipment and perform power factor tests.
• Commission new installations and support outages or emergency calls.
• Lead apprentices and junior technicians at senior levels.
