CDL Driver (Class B)

Sunbelt Rentals—the fastest growing rental business in North America—is seeking a CDL Driver (Class B).

As a Class B CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role involves driving a flatbed or roll-back truck in various conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings. The ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s license with Class B CDL certification & a safe driving record

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Previous experience driving, loading, and unloading tools or equipment
• Mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues on-site
• Customer service-focused attitude
• Attention to detail to properly maintain records
• Bi-lingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

The physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Pay Range: $28.51 - $30.51 per hour. The hourly wage depends on the agreed rate under the collective bargaining agreement for this location.

Sunbelt also provides a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including health, dental, vision plans, 401(k), volunteer time off, disability, insurance, flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, college savings, EAP, and length of service awards. Benefits become available on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Time off options include 12 to 25 vacation days depending on years of service, 5 sick days, 6 paid holidays, 2 paid half-day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, and 1 volunteer day, subject to company policies.
