CNA Financial in Chicago offers an Underwriting Trainee Program with hands-on experience, skills development, and mentoring. Trainees gain exposure to underwriting basics, sales, and analytics while completing a blend of on-the-job and virtual training.

The program emphasizes leadership development and a path toward underwriting responsibilities, with a hybrid schedule from our Chicago, IL offices.

Formación

Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Commitment to develop knowledge and understanding of underwriting.
Strong sales aptitude.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to learn rapidly.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, overcome obstacles, and develop positive business relationships.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilidades

Review industry, business and government data to assess risk and determine acceptance.
Decide whether to accept or decline risk and price accordingly.
Maintain a steady flow of new and renewal business.
Collaborate with underwriting, risk control and claim teams as needed.
