What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle incoming calls from agents, producers, and customers, providing exceptional customer service
- Collect necessary underwriting requirements via telephone, email, or other business applications for underwriting decisions
- Evaluate and process new business applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
- Utilize various systems and tools to support underwriting areas and transfer calls appropriately
- Collaborate with team members to recommend process improvements and enhance customer experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong customer service and call center skills with the ability to assess customer needs
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and adhere to department expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer systems, including email, data entry, and Microsoft products
- Strong attention to detail with effective time management and organizational skills
- Must be located in the United States or Puerto Rico and have access to high-speed internet for remote work
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Previous experience in insurance or underwriting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
