Qualifications

Internship candidates can expect a fulltime onsite internship program, running from June 2027 through August 2027. This internship opportunity is offered in Milwaukee, WI. Candidates must be local to Milwaukee during the duration of the internship program.

Underwriting Research Internship

As an Underwriting Research Intern, you will work alongside your hiring manager, mentor, and team to complete tasks critical for Northwestern Mutual's success. We are here to help you both identify and continue to develop your future career goals and passions.

Underwriting Research: Assist in the completion of adhoc research efforts through the utilization of strong data analytics skills, leveraging tools such as Excel, SQL, and SAS to uncover insights within data.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in data analytics or actuarial science from an accredited college or university
• Interest or background in Actuarial Science is preferred
• Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
• Previous work or classroom experience in one or more of the following: Accounting or Auditing
• Employer immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
