Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance in Draper, Utah, is offering an underwriting internship for current college students to learn coverages, contracts, and company procedures. You will analyze loss experience and risk, while studying policies and endorsements in a hands-on setting.

As an intern, you will communicate with independent agents and colleagues, develop product knowledge through approved educational programs, and gain practical underwriting experience. Rate of pay starts at $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Students should be currently enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in college
• Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently
• Above-average communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to resolve complex issues
• An interest in developing product knowledge through participation in approved educational programs
