Qualifications

Currently enrolled in college and entering junior or senior year.
Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently.
Above-average communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to resolve complex issues.
Interest in developing product knowledge through approved educational programs.

Responsibilities

Learn various insurance coverages and contracts to make underwriting decisions.
Become familiar with company policies, manuals, forms and endorsements.
Analyze loss experience, financial conditions and risk characteristics.
Acquire working knowledge of underwriting department support.
Communicate effectively with independent agents and colleagues in writing or verbally.
