Western National Insurance Group in Minnesota is seeking a Support Specialist I to join our underwriting support team. The role provides administrative support to underwriters and agencies by rating and entering transactions into established systems, while helping the underwriting team maintain accuracy and speed.

You will handle document indexing, data entry, reporting, and project tasks, always upholding our customer experience standards.

• Enters new business submissions and identifies additional submissions and active policies to prevent duplication.
• Updates routine reports and understands information.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Gathers input and makes recommendations to solve problems of moderate complexity.
• Applies knowledge to help solve problems of relatively limited scope and complexity.

Compensation overview

The full hiring range for this role is $20.50, hourly. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates looking for compensation outside of the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on their individual qualifications and/or may be considered for other positions.
