Job summary

HDI Global Insurance Company, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Underwriting Services Associate to support the underwriting process across lines of business. This entry-level role emphasizes data accuracy, service excellence, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will enter underwriting data, assist with invoicing, issue policy documents, perform final checks, and participate in process improvements while supporting onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
• Prior internship or experience in insurance, underwriting, or data entry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter underwriting data into internal systems for both new and renewal business.
• Assist with premium allocation and invoicing tasks.
• Issue policy documentation including policies, endorsements, and cancellations in accordance with service standards.
• Perform final policy checks and ensure premium data is accurately recorded.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned by the Underwriting Services Team Leader.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members, as needed.
