Underwriting Consultant - Nat'l Acct Primary - Loss Sensitive

This role involves managing, developing, and growing a book of Large Account Casualty business, with a focus on new business production of risk management primary casualty accounts. The position requires technical expertise in underwriting, especially in loss sensitive account structures, and strong sales and relationship skills with external agents and internal teams.

The role is hybrid, based in Plano, TX, and suitable for candidates with 5+ years of large account casualty underwriting experience. Candidates from Texas, Kansas City, or St. Louis are considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review applications and financials to assess risk acceptability.
  • Price risks using various tools and methodologies.
  • Analyze coverage and structure policies accordingly.
  • Manage portfolio to meet financial and growth targets.
