CNA Insurance is seeking an experienced Underwriter to manage a complex book of business. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge in underwriting principles and be responsible for pricing and analyzing high-risk business.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to mentor less experienced underwriters. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of eight years in underwriting are essential. The compensation range for this position is $72,000 to $141,000 annually.

Individual contributor responsible for the overall management, business development, analysis and monitoring of a highly complex book of business. Recognized as a technical expert in an underwriting specialty. Under general management direction, works within broad limits of authority on assignments requiring a high degree of technical complexity and coordination. May have regional, industry segment or company-wide scope.

In District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $72,000 to $141,000 annually. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
