Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle highly complex underwriting risks using diagnostic and systematic analysis.
• Develop specialized endorsement language for complex risks.
• Determine appropriate pricing for complex risks based on financial and competitive analysis, with minimal oversight.
• Provide recommendations on underwriting policies and pricing strategies.
• Analyze and report on the quality, quantity, and profitability of underwritten risks.
• Market products and services through agencies and brokerage communities, including field visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with large producers to achieve positive outcomes on high-risk business.
• Stay informed on industry regulations, activities, and trends; participate in trade groups if applicable.
• Mentor less experienced underwriters and contribute to underwriting training.
• Utilize advanced CNA system functionalities for daily activities.
• Lead special underwriting projects and presentations.
