Role Description

The Underwriting Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Sarasota, FL. Daily responsibilities include data entry, organizing and updating files, assisting with risk evaluations, and handling routine correspondence with internal teams, clients, and brokers. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, tracking policy changes and renewals, and ensuring adherence to established underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. The Underwriting Assistant collaborates closely with underwriting and operations staff to promote efficient workflows and high-quality service.
