Job Title: Underwriting Account Senior Representative

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Remote

Workdays: Monday - Friday



Summary

The Underwriting Account Senior Representative, within Supplemental Benefits contributes to the Underwriting process through the handling of all Medicare Supplement, Health and Life underwritten applications.



Essential Responsibilities:

* Review medical history, data and interviews employing critical thinking skills

* Operating third party software to summarize application medical and health data

* Provide written correspondence, to the applicant or broker, regarding outstanding application requirements



Qualifications:

* High School diploma is required

* 2+ years insurance or medical experience required, preferably medical insurance or PBM background

* 1+ yr. of customer service experience preferably on phones

* Medical terminology preferred

* Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills

* Ability to prioritize workload independently in a fast-paced environment

* Knowledge of medical conditions/prescriptions
