Job summary

WAHVE is seeking experienced insurance underwriters for remote, long-term roles in Workers’ Compensation. Candidates should bring extensive Commercial Lines P&C experience and the ability to underwrite medium to complex risks from home.

The position offers full or part-time options and benefits. Responsibilities include underwriting, pricing decisions, industry trend monitoring, and building strong producer and broker relationships to maintain profitable books of business while delivering

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience required.
• 10 years of Commercial Lines P&C experience required.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and/or renewal Workers Compensation insurance business for medium to complex risks.
• Make critical underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage alternatives, and pricing.
• Stay up to date on industry trends by continuously monitoring and researching developments in the workers compensation field to ensure the policies are current and competitive.
• Develop and maintain superior relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers.
• Maintain accurate file documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
• Achieve acceptable underwriting profit levels within assigned book of business.

We have assignments available to help our insurance carrier, MGA, or wholesale broker clients in Underwriter – Workers Compensation positions.

Responsibilities may include:

• Underwrite new and/or renewal Workers Compensation insurance business for medium to complex risks.

• Current HIGH DEMAND for experience with California state Workers Compensation market.
